Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Share and Explore Program
Kenya, Africa
Kijana Educational Empowerment Initiative, a non-profit organization, promotes and cultivates youth empowerment through educational development and sustainable and environmentally friendly economic growth among under-served Kenyan school communities. The organization invests in the capable, yet underserved talent of many parts of Kenya and serves as a bridge between youth and communities in Kenya and youth and communities in the United States. The Kijana Care, Share and Explore Program educates future generations about the importance of Kenya’s rich biodiversity that is under constant threat due to poaching, cutting of trees, and destruction of forests and waterways.

For it is in giving that we receive.
