How We Serve

Invitational Church

The Invitational Church Circle is a collaborative effort with the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary (IBVM) to continuously build a welcoming community through hospitality, service, and prayer opportunities. Our ministry focuses on creating an inviting environment for individuals and families seeking a safe place to grow their relationship with God.

Collaborators

As followers of St. Francis, St. Clare, and our Foundress Mother Clara Pfaender, we center our lives on the Franciscan tradition of reaching out to those on the margins of society. We continue this tradition by meeting the needs of our time in collaboration with other organizations.

Exploring the Franciscan Way of Life

The Wheaton Franciscans are committed to sharing the Franciscan story and spirit with all people of goodwill who want to learn more about Franciscan spirituality and how to integrate the Good News of God’s love into daily life.

It is designed for individuals with no experience in Franciscan spirituality and those with more knowledge seeking to bond with others to deepen one another’s understanding.

Service Through Prayer

The power of prayer brings peace and comfort to those burdened with concerns for themselves, their loved ones and their community. It is also an expression of joy and gratitude for the many blessings we receive throughout out our lives. Let our Sisters and Faith Community lift up your joys and concerns in prayer.
