Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Greater Family Health

As a non-profit Community Health Center, Greater Family Health has many years of experience in providing primary health care services to vulnerable populations across an expansive service area – 52 Zip codes in Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, and McHenry Counties. To address the severe need for health care services in their service area, Greater Family Health operates 11 Health Centers that utilize a Primary Care Medical Home model to provide superb access to care that is patient-centered, comprehensive, and coordinated. They offer a wide array of integrated services including family medicine, internal medicine, infectious disease, pediatrics, OB/GYN, oral health care, psychiatry and behavioral health care, and substance use disorder/medication-assisted treatment.
