Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Timor Leste Indonesia Mission
Due to political unrest, unstable security and violence, for many years poverty has been the main problem in Timor Leste (East Timor) as well as the early death of many people. Many children in the country need shelter, food, and care. Their families, in desperation, try to place them in orphanages. For almost 25 years the Sisters from the Timor Leste Indonesia Mission have been running the orphanage St. Clara which provides shelter, education, and spiritual guidance to prepare children for an independent life in the future.
For it is in giving that we receive.
