Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Bartlett Learning Center aka Clare Woods Academy

Founded in 1968 through the Bartlett Learning Center, Clare Woods Academy provides a loving and trusting environment in which individuals can function to their fullest potential without regard to race, sex, creed, or religion, enabling them to become responsible, respected members of family, community, and society. Clare Woods Academy assists learning-disabled and developmentally disabled youth and adults to become self-sufficient and self-directed in the areas of personal growth, education, social, and emotional well-being, as well as functional living skills and vocational training.
