Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Fox Valley Food for Health

Fox Valley Food for Health (FVFH) serves individuals in the Fox River Area/Kane County that have been diagnosed with a health crisis such as cancer diagnosis and anyone who is struggling with major surgery and post-operative support. By providing nourishing meals to individuals in Kane County with cancer and other health challenges, FVFFH is improving their chances for recovery and survival. The group receives referrals from local doctor offices, hospitals, and cancer treatment centers to connect with families affected by cancer and in need of nutritional and caring support.
