Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

BEDS Plus Care, Inc.
La Grange, IL
For more than 30 years, BEDS Plus Care has served individuals experiencing homelessness or at immediate risk of homelessness in southwest suburban Cook County. Its Justice Involved Transitional Housing Program provides low-barrier housing and supportive services for individuals with histories of justice system involvement. The program offers up to 24 months of transitional housing, along with trauma-informed case management, referrals to healthcare and human service providers, and assistance with employment, benefits, and obtaining essential documents to help participants achieve long-term stability.
