Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Loaves & Fishes Community Services
Aurora, IL
Loaves & Fishes Community Services is an anti-poverty, hunger-relief organization dedicated to providing healthy food and programs that promote self-sufficiency. Serving low-income families in southern DuPage County, the organization offers weekly access to nutritious food through a client-choice market, curbside pick-up, online ordering, and offsite deliveries. In addition, its CARES programs help prevent homelessness and support families through services such as emergency financial assistance, car donations, resource navigation, public benefits support, tax preparation, and job search assistance.
