May & June 2026 Collaborator: Care of Creation

Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Wiraqocha Foundation for the Preservation of Indigenous Wisdom

High Andes of Peru

The Wiraqocha Foundation is a nonprofit educational and charitable organization based in Naalehu, HI. Founded in 1996, its mission is to support the Q’ero people in maintaining their ancestral homeland in the high Andes of Peru and sustaining their traditional agricultural way of life and Inka cultural heritage. The Foundation provides essential services not otherwise available to the Q’ero, promotes their values through publications and educational programs (both in person and online), and fosters cultural exchange with other Indigenous communities worldwide.

For it is in giving that we receive.
