Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Quixote Center
Greenbelt, MD
The Quixote Center advances migration justice through humanitarian aid, education, and advocacy. In partnership with the Franciscan Network on Migration, it supports migrant shelters across Mexico and Central America, serving individuals and families fleeing countries such as Honduras, Haiti, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Cuba, and Venezuela. Its work focuses on protecting migrants’ rights, expanding access to asylum, and advocating for an end to detention-based immigration policies.

For it is in giving that we receive.
