October & November 2025 Collaborator: Refugees & Immigrants

Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Catholic Charities: Archdiocese of Milwaukee

Milwaukee, WI

Catholic Charities–Archdiocese of Milwaukee prioritizes serving individuals and families affected by poverty across the ten counties of southeastern Wisconsin, including refugees and immigrants. Through its Refugee and Immigration Services (RIS) program, Catholic Charities helps immigrants living in poverty pursue lawful status, achieve eventual citizenship, and gain the knowledge and tools needed to build stable and fulfilling lives in the United States. The program also emphasizes the importance of maintaining cultural identity while supporting full participation in the social, civic, and economic life of their new country.

For it is in giving that we receive.
