Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Friends In Solidarity
South Sudan
Friends in Solidarity is the US partner to Solidarity with South Sudan. The purpose of Friends in Solidarity is to raise awareness of the situation in South Sudan and the work of Solidarity; it is also committed to raising funds to support the work of Solidarity. Through capacity-building initiatives that include the training of teachers, health care professionals, and pastoral teams, Solidarity with South Sudan educates the next generation of leaders for South Sudan. The ministry is committed to raising global awareness of the suffering of Africa’s men and women. They work in collaboration with the Church in Africa to equip and empower the people in South Sudan and create a sustainable future for them and their future generations.
