Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Otto Schoitz Foundation

The mission of the Otto Schoitz Foundation is to improve the health and well-being of the Cedar Valley community and its members by providing grants to local organizations. The Ministry Fund partners with the Otto Schoitz Foundation to help the vulnerable and underserved people of Waterloo, Iowa. Programs such as supportive and transitional housing, immigrant legal and family services, Black literacy programs, and others benefit from this partnership.
