Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Peoples Resource Center (PRC)

For almost 50 years, Peoples Resource Center (PRC) has worked to respond to basic human needs and has built opportunities for low-income residents of DuPage County. PRC was established in 1975 to help members of the community struggling with hunger. Since then, PRC has learned that families experiencing poverty face complex situations beyond food insecurity. Over time PRC has become a full-service agency providing interconnected services and tools to support and strengthen more than 7,000 families each year.
