Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Dubuque
Immigration Legal Services

Catholic Charities is the only local non-profit Immigration Legal Services provider located in the Archdiocese of Dubuque on-qualified legal persons. Last year alone, they provided over 200 legal consultations by offering numerous legal workshops to educate Afghans about their legal options. In addition to Afghan evacuees, their immigration legal program offers services to other vulnerable populations such as Ukrainians who arrived as parolees fleeing the war. The latest populations receiving humanitarian legal services from CC-Dubuque are coming from countries such as Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.
