Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

FCJM Sector – “Portiuncula in France”
Saint Clare Community of Ban St. Martin
Saint Clare Community of Ban St. Martin, managed by the French Sector “Portiuncula”, hosts the elderly sisters for the Sector. The facility allows the elderly Sisters to stay together and live a community life. At Saint Clare Community they receive medical and diagnostic treatments, and their community life has been adapted to times of prayer, retreat, reflection. The facility staff also organizes activities and games for the Sisters throughout the year, as well as a week-long vacation.
