Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Azzarelli Outreach Clinic of St. John Paul II Parish
Kankakee, IL
The Azzarelli Outreach Clinic of St. John Paul II Catholic Parish Church was founded in 1999. Their volunteer medical providers and ancillary staff provide healthcare services to approximately 1,400 patients annually. At Azzarelli, the marginalized, uninsured, underinsured, and undocumented immigrants are all provided FREE healthcare. Their patients do not pay anything at all for the services. The clinic relies entirely on the generous donations of others to operate this community ministry.
