Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Outreach Community Ministries
Jubilee Village Transitional Housing Center
Carol Stream, IL
The Outreach Community Ministries is a faith-based community development agency that has been serving vulnerable children, teens and families in DuPage County for almost 50 years. Their Jubilee Village Transitional Housing Center provides safe housing and wrap-around support services to single mothers ages 18-24 who are either pregnant or parenting one child who would otherwise be homeless. The two-year residential program comprehensively addresses the needs of participants and includes counseling, structured case management, financial management, life skills training, encouragement, accountability, and access to a college scholarship. Jubilee Village is one of only two transitional housing centers in DuPage County that specialize in serving young mothers.
