Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Eco-Justice Center
Racine, WI
The Eco-Justice Center is an environmental education center and organic farm founded by Racine Dominican Sisters in 2004. The Center develops programming for lifelong learning designed to encourage exploration, connect people with sustainable growing practices, and promote healthier ecosystems that restore right relationships. They offer tours and programs for the general public, field trips for students in Racine and Kenosha Counties, summer camps for youth ages 6-14, and seasonal employment for college students. Because they are an organic farm, they are perfectly positioned to educate about healthy eating along with providing fresh produce to local food pantries.
