Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Dubuque seeks to provide affordable, professional legal services to immigrants who would otherwise not be able to afford these services. They help eliminate the barriers that the immigrants may face when trying to reunite with their families or seek employment opportunities to support their families. Immigration attorneys provide free consultations to immigrants as needed by appointment so that they understand their rights and the legal immigration options available to them. Their free legal consultation services help to reduce the number of immigrants being deceived by non-qualified legal persons. Educating immigrants and the public about immigration law is an important component of their Immigrant Legal Services Program. They aim to debunk myths about immigrants and their trained immigration attorneys often provide professional speeches and trainings for the community.
