Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

glenhagen farm retreat encourages the stewardship of God’s creation, challenging groups to consider ways in which together we can care for God’s gift of the natural world around us. They accomplish this by providing youth from all walks of life with the opportunity to experience the extraordinary wonders of ecosystems which support life on earth; providing people of all ages with opportunities for worship, meditation, prayer and spiritual growth in the midst of beautiful woods, meadows, and valleys; learning about the miracle of growing and preparing nutritious food; and nurturing self-confidence in youth.
