Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet, is a social service organization providing human services in DuPage, Grundy, Will, Kendall, Kankakee, Ford, and Iroquois counties. The Agency serves low-income people, including refugees and immigrants. Catholic Charities – Joliet plays a vital role in the welfare of refugee and immigrant households through its Immigrant Support Program (ISP) which helps these individuals to integrate into their communities. The program aids immigrant families and individuals by covering various fees and expenses related to legal status and direct needs such as emergency food, rent support, utility support, fees, etc.
