Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Laudato Si’ Project
Catholic Ecology Center

Laudato Si’ Project is a non-profit organization that began working in 2016. The group works with over twenty schools and parishes in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, fostering faith and a care for the natural world. In 2021 the organization opened their Catholic Ecological Center which offers educational programs, presentations, day retreats, stewardship projects and recreational outings for people of all ages, with a special emphasis on youth, families, and the underserved.
For it is in giving that we receive.
