Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Coalition for Spiritual and Public Leadership (CSPL)

The Coalition for Spiritual and Public Leadership (CSPL) is a nonprofit, multi-racial, multi-ethnic, grassroots coalition of parishes, faith communities, and community organizations working to address racial, social, economic, and environmental injustice. CSPL equips faith leaders and their congregations to engage in public life through leadership development, community organizing, and advocacy rooted in Catholic social teaching and spiritual tradition. The organization’s work focuses on key issues such as immigration, economic justice, and violence prevention.
