Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Uganda Episcopal Conference/Catholic Centre for
Legal Aid Services

The Catholic Centre for Legal Aid Services (CCLAS) is an organization for all charitable purposes under the umbrella of the Uganda Catholic Lawyers Society. It provides legal aid services and care for the poor and most vulnerable persons and groups; legal protection for women, children, and refugees against sexual and other forms of violence and abuse; rescue services for victims of human rights violations and violence; rehabilitation and resettlement services to victims of human rights abuse and those at risk and more. The operational areas of the agency include Kampala, Jinja and Fort Portal Districts.
