Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Glenwood Academy

Glenwood Academy strives to eradicate poverty, injustice, and inequity through the power of residential education. Set on 120 acres with significant green space, Glenwood Academy is a school that provides residential life programs for challenged children. The school is in Glenwood, a south suburb of Chicago. It serves over 150 children ranging from ages 7 to 18. Their program provides the children with food and shelter; they also provide children and families with support for their healing, growth and academic success.
