Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Springbank Christian Center
Wetland Dam Restoration Project

Springbank Christian Center has been staffed and supported by the Adrian Dominican Sisters continuously for 35 years. The Center develops sabbatical programs designed to provide a healing and supportive environment for those in transition, spiritual and physical renewal. Recently the Center repaired the dam in their Swamp Sanctuary which retains the water level and made the Sanctuary more accessible to their guests for meditation, prayer, and reflection by building a boardwalk and a gazebo there.
