Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Migrant Response and Overnight Shelter Program
Catholic Charities of Archdiocese of San Antonio addresses the current border crisis and helps the asylum seekers traveling through San Antonio upon release by US government to travel to their sponsor family within the United States. Their Migrant Response and Overnight Shelter Program helps migrant families that are coming directly from Border Patrol detention facilities and are legally allowed to travel within the US to appear at assigned court dates for asylum hearings throughout the country by purchasing them bus tickets, providing lodging, and meeting their basic needs.
