Remington Settlement with Sandy Hook Families
On February 15 the Sandy Hook families won a $73 million settlement with Remington, the manufacturer of the assault rifle that took the lives 20 children and 6 adults, in a wrongful death lawsuit. This is an important first step in the attempts by the Sandy Hook families to be sure that such shootings will not continue to occur. The Newtown Action Alliance urges all people who support getting assault weapons off our streets to read and consider signing the petition.
