Silence – Journey to Heartfulness

Join us for a contemplative journey of curiosity ‘from the mind to the heart’.

Our morning together will include prayer and quiet reflection, ending with circle sharing

This is a journey to explore the language of the heart. We will start this journey by simply noticing the moments throughout our life that bring joy and happiness to our lives. We will spend time in contemplation opening to these moments within our hearts. There will be time for sharing, reflection and journaling.

Our facilitator, Laura Desmaris explored meditation while living in India over ten years ago. Since then she found herself drawn to Centering Prayer and has been influenced by Thomas Keating and Cynthia Bourgeault – combining all of her prayer and meditation experiences to create this offering. She is a Spiritual Director and has led Centering Prayer with Sr Pat Irr, OSF in prior seasons at Tau Center.
