A Day of Action for Creation
September 21 @ 7:30 am – 4:30 pm CDT
Join together in community to clear invasive species from the Loyola University Retreat and Ecology Campus LUREC located in Woodstock, IL. Our morning will begin with training to recognize invasive species, followed by two sessions in the field.
The bus will leave OLA at Entrance 5 at 7:30 a.m. and arrive at the center at 9:00 a.m. Lunch is provided followed by an afternoon session. We will depart by 3:00 p.m., returning to OLA by 4:30 p.m. Participants must be high school age or older. High school-aged participants must be accompanied by an adult.
This event is co-sponsored by the Wheaton Franciscan Season of Creation team and the Loyola University young adult team for Care of Creation.
