Through prayer, relationship-building and sharing of resources, the Wheaton Franciscans collaborate with organizations whose mission and priorities are similar to ours. We focus primarily on the following areas: care of creation; health and dental in underserved areas; refugees and immigrants; women and children in vulnerable situations; and other purposes that align with our values. We are currently connected to nearly 100 organizations.

Iowa / Immigration Legal Services
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Dubuque provides legal services to immigrants and refugees throughout the Archdiocese. Its Immigration Legal Services program offers free legal consultations and education to help individuals understand their immigration options and avoid fraudulent or unqualified legal assistance. The program has served vulnerable immigrant populations, including Afghan evacuees, Ukrainians displaced by the war, and individuals arriving from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and other countries seeking humanitarian relief.
