Prayer Service of Remembrance & Hope
June 24 @ 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm CDT
As the United States prepares to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the Wheaton Franciscans invite you to join us in reflecting on the values that build a healthy nation: unity, belonging, dignity, solidarity, peace, and justice for all.
Recognizing our interdependence and inspired by the Gospel call to welcome the stranger, we are hosting a brief prayer service to provide a space for reflection, remembrance, lament, and hope. All are welcome.
- Followed by S’mores and More in the Garden
- Please bring your own chairs and bug repellent
- In case of inclement weather, gather at Entrance #5
