DESCRIPTION:An ongoing small group dedicated to a deeper self-inquiry based on the SoulCollage process\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSoulCollage® is a powerful creative process that gently enables you to hear the deep wisdom of your own inner-knowing through the practice of collage art. This soul-tending practice honors one’s personal journey\, while promoting personal growth and self-discovery. To deepen our understanding of and break open the meaning of our SoulCollage cards\, each session will begin with an short introduction of the theme followed by guided meditation and setting our intention\, before transitioning to card-making. Our day will conclude with witness journaling and a brief sharing of our images\, if desired. \n\n\n\nWorking silently within the group energy\, we honor our own inner voice\, allowing our unique creative process to lead us on our unique path. Our gathering offers a safe and supportive space for exploration and discovery in an intimate and ongoing group setting. \n\n\n\nThis small group does not include teachings in the SoulCollage Process but offers space for exploration. All are welcome – experience in SoulCollage not required! \n\n\n\n$25/session\, includes access to basic SoulCollage supplies and a program guide for the series to facilitate creative exploration on your own between sessions. Bring additional magazines and personal images. A copy of “Into the Heart of SoulCollage” is suggested\, but not required \n\n\n\nOnline registration closes one week prior to each session.Register separately for each monthly session\, come to one or all\, as your schedule allows.  \n\n\n\n\nRegister for this Event\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSharon Devo is a certified SoulCollage and Open Studio Process Facilitator\, Spiritual Director and Retreat Guide. She completed training in Expressive Arts Facilitation at Abbey of the Arts in 2017. In addition to her work as Director at Tau Center\, Sharon’s professional experience ranges from co-active coaching/training & development to driving a FedEx Truck . Her personal practice includes art-making\, meditation and garden design. She completed the three year program “Spiritual Deepening for Global Transformation” at Christine Center and remains committed to companioning all on their spiritual journey of awakening.

SUMMARY:Spiritual Growth through Dream Work
DESCRIPTION:What might your dreams be trying to tell you?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister for this Event\n\n\n\n\nOnline registration requested two weeks prior to the program. \n\n\n\n\n\n“Dreams are the guiding words of the soul. Why should I henceforth not love my dreams and not make their riddling images into objects of my daily consideration?”  \nCarl Jung\n\n\n\n\nGather for a time of self-discovery and shared wisdom as we look at what our dreams may be trying to tell us. Together we will explore why it’s worth paying attention to our dreams\, how we can work with and interpret them\, and ways we can accept guidance from them that can deeply enrich our lives. Participants are encouraged to bring a recent dream they’ve had\, written down\, though this is not required. \n\n\n\nThis offering will be held in person at Tau Center. Please plan to arrive by 9:45am to settle in before we begin. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Our Facilitator \n\n\n\nTammy Winn holds a graduate degree in Religious Studies. She works as a recording artist\, contemplative writer\, and presenter. Tammy also has experience teaching theology and directing youth and young adult ministries. Specific to dream work\, Tammy has worked with her own dreams in spiritual direction over the past 15 years and participates in continuing education workshops on the topic. DESCRIPTION:Reconnecting with the Caregiver Song in Your Heart\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister for this Event\n\n\n\n\n\nSome days there won’t be a song in your heart. Sing anyway. \n\n\n\n– Emory Austin \n\n\n\n\nCare-giving for loved ones begins with a song in the heart composed of love\, compassion and purpose. A song that overtime we can find harder and harder to sing as the everyday realities of care-giving lead us into compassion fatigue\, a form of care-giver burnout manifesting in deep physical\, emotional and spiritual exhaustion. Those who have experienced compassion fatigue often describe it as being sucked into a vortex that slowly pulls them down\, eroding empathy\, compassion and positive connection for and to others – and one’s best self. \n\n\n\nIn this workshop we will explore: attitudes of over-care; how to identify personal barriers to self-care; the causes\, signs and symptoms of compassion fatigue; the importance of balancing pleasure and meaning; how to develop a self-care action plan; and easy-to-learn and do renewing practices that can help increase your confidence and ability to take positive\, effective action during times of pressure\, challenge and change. Instructor presentation\, conversation\, writing and reflection are all part of this workshop experience. \n\n\n\nOnline Registration Required by Monday February 17\, space is limited \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Our Presenter \n\n\n\nElizabeth Lewis is a certified grief support specialist\, grief educator\, trauma sensitive HeartMath provider\, stress resilience trainer\, spiritual counselor and motivational speaker. She is trained in mindfulness-based stress reduction\, a modality that includes therapeutic yoga. Elizabeth travels extensively in the United States and Italy presenting talks and workshops on a wide variety of subjects including trauma healing\, resilience-building\, forgiveness facilitation\, and healing art and writing. She is a blog writer for the grief support site\, rememberingalife.com and a wellness provider with Heal.me.

Our gathering offers a safe and supportive space for exploration and discovery in an intimate and ongoing group setting. \n\n\n\nThis small group does not include teachings in the SoulCollage Process but offers space for exploration. All are welcome – experience in SoulCollage not required! \n\n\n\n$25/session\, includes access to basic SoulCollage supplies and a program guide for the series to facilitate creative exploration on your own between sessions. Bring additional magazines and personal images. In addition to her work as Director at Tau Center\, Sharon’s professional experience ranges from co-active coaching/training & development to driving a FedEx Truck . Her personal practice includes art-making\, meditation and garden design. She completed the three year program “Spiritual Deepening for Global Transformation” at Christine Center and remains committed to companioning all on their spiritual journey of awakening.

DESCRIPTION:Stained Glass Windows as Sacred Art\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for a presentation\, “The Sacred Transmitted: Stained Glass Windows as Sacred Art” by Aaron Frei\, President of Emil Frei & Associates. Aaron holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in theology from the University of Dallas and is an expert in theology and iconography. He began working at his family’s firm at age 11 and has been involved ever since\, aside from a few years spent in a Cistercian monastery. \n\n\n\nFor those in our Online Community who would like to learn more about the history of the OLA Stained Glass windows\, we invite you to attend the presentation via live stream on our YouTube Channel at the above date and time. In addition\, there will be a link to the digital program in the video description with images and more detailed information. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEmil Frei & Associates is a liturgical design studio that specializes in custom stained glass and mosaics. Established in 1898 by Emil Frei Sr.\, the firm is renowned for its artistry. Francis Deck\, an associate of Emil Frei\, designed the stained-glass windows in Our Lady of the Angels Chapel depicting the “Magnificat.” Deck broke away from the traditional stained-glass window design by placing big splashes of magnificent colors and fine line drawings against a backdrop of predominantly neutral grays. The magnificent colors of the windows are reflected differently at different times of the day. \n\n\n\nPlease join us for this special event.
