DESCRIPTION:The vigil Mass is held after nightfall on Holy Saturday\, or before dawn on Easter Sunday\, in celebration of the resurrection of Jesus.  This is called the Easter Vigil: the most glorious\, beautiful\, and dramatic liturgy for the Church. DESCRIPTION:Register for the Listening Sessions\n\n\n\n\nRegistration is required to receive the Zoom link. You will register for both online sessions\, but if you cannot make one of the sessions\, you can still join us for the other one. It is not necessary to participate in both sessions\, but you are welcome to if you wish.  \n\n\n\nOnline registration closes on Sunday\, March 17\, 2024. Registered participants will receive the Zoom link the day before the scheduled session. \n\n\n\nAn Invitation To Participate\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPope Francis has invited the entire People of God to journey together for a Synodal Church: Communion\, Mission\, and Participation. The first of two Synod gatherings was held in Rome in October 2023 after a two-year listening and consultation process. Following the October 2023 gathering of lay women and men\, vowed religious\, and bishops\, a Synthesis Report was written.  \n\n\n\n\n\nTo prepare for the next gathering\, the General Secretariat of the Synod has invited the People of God to “contribute by deepening aspects of the Synthesis Report” fundamental to the theme of Mission. The guiding question is: \n\n\n\nHow can we be a synodal Church in mission? \n\n\n\nThe Wheaton Franciscan Invitational Church Circle invites you to join us to explore: \n\n\n\n\nHow can we\, as the faith and friends’ community\, be a synodal church in mission?\n\n\n\nHow are we called to BE Love and to serve the People of God?\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTo prepare for the Listening Sessions\, we invite you to read the Letter to the People of God and the Synthesis Report. \n\n\n\n\n\nTwo Synod Listening Opportunities Available Online\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFirst Opportunity \n\n\n\n\n\nWed\, March 20\, 2024 – 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. CT \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSecond Opportunity \n\n\n\n\n\nSat\, March 23\, 2024 – 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. CT \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat To Expect During The Listening Sessions\n\n\n\nInput\n\n\n\nBrief input highlighting some of the key aspects from the October 2023 Synod gathering. \n\n\n\nSmall Groups\n\n\n\nWe will break into small Zoom groups to provide a greater opportunity for everyone to be heard. The emphasis will be on respectful listening: not debating\, not making decisions\, simply and joyfully listening to one another. \n\n\n\nRespectful Sharing\n\n\n\n\nEach person will have 2 minutes of uninterrupted time to say what is important to them.\n\n\n\nThe small group will reflect silently on what everyone said\, and then have another opportunity to speak\, one at a time.\n\n\n\nThe emphasis is on respectful listening. Not debating. Not making decisions.\n\n\n\n\n1.5 Hours\n\n\n\nFrom our initial welcoming with a prayer to our final closing\, we plan to spend 1.5 hours together in each session.

DESCRIPTION:An ongoing small group dedicated to a deeper exploration of SoulCollage\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSoulCollage® is a powerful creative process that gently enables you to hear the deep wisdom of your own inner-knowing through the practice of collage art. To deepen our understanding of and break open the meaning of our SoulCollage cards\, each session  will include \n\n\n\n\n20 minutes of instruction\n\n\n\nguided meditation and card-making\n\n\n\njournaling and a brief sharing of our images\, if desired\n\n\n\n\nFirst Wednesdays\, ongoing 9:30 am – Noon. Each Monthly Session offers a different theme or follow your own inner wisdom. \n\n\n\n$25/session\, includes access to basic SoulCollage supplies and a program guide for the series to facilitate creative exploration on your own between sessions. Bring additional magazines and personal images. A copy of “Into the Heart of SoulCollage” by Anne Marie Bennett is suggested\, but not required \n\n\n\n\nOnline registration closes one week prior to each session.\n\n\n\nIf you are new to SoulCollage\, check our program listing for ‘Introduction to SoulCollage” to learn the basics or contact Sharon Devo to learn more about joining this small group.\n\n\n\nRegister separately for each monthly session\, come to one or all\, as your schedule allows. \n\n\n\n\n\nRegister for this Event\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSharon Devo is a certified SoulCollage and Open Studio Process Facilitator\, Spiritual Director and Retreat Guide. SUMMARY:Dream Work — Online Small Group Series 2024
DESCRIPTION:Explore your dreams in an intimate small group format\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister for this Event\n\n\n\n\nOnline registration\, with donation\, two weeks prior to the program is requested \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTammy will facilitate the dream work process in a small group format. Participants are asked to bring their dreams (written down in the present tense) to the online sessions. Together\, in a structured shared wisdom approach\, we will help one another unpack what our dreams may be trying to communicate. \n\n\n\nParticipants need to have previously attended Tammy’s “Spiritual Growth through Dream Work” program OR be already familiar with Dream Work to register for this series. \n\n\n\nThis group will meet via Zoom monthly on the 2nd Thursday from 6:30-8:00pm CST  \n\n\n\n\nFebruary 8\, 2024\n\n\n\nMarch 14\, 2024\n\n\n\nApril 11\, 2024\n\n\n\n\nNote: Please be sure to have Zoom installed on your computer prior to October 12th. A program link will be sent to the email used for program registration before each of the three sessions. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Our Facilitator \n\n\n\nTammy Winn holds a graduate degree in Religious Studies. She works as a recording artist\, contemplative writer\, and presenter. Tammy also has experience teaching theology and directing youth and young adult ministries. Specific to dream work\, Tammy has worked with her own dreams in spiritual direction over the past 15 years. SUMMARY:Heart of SoulCollage: A Practice of Self-Discovery
DESCRIPTION:An ongoing small group dedicated to a deeper exploration of SoulCollage\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSoulCollage® is a powerful creative process that gently enables you to hear the deep wisdom of your own inner-knowing through the practice of collage art. To deepen our understanding of and break open the meaning of our SoulCollage cards\, each session  will include \n\n\n\n\n20 minutes of instruction\n\n\n\nguided meditation and card-making\n\n\n\njournaling and a brief sharing of our images\, if desired\n\n\n\n\nFirst Wednesdays\, ongoing 9:30 am – Noon. Each Monthly Session offers a different theme or follow your own inner wisdom. \n\n\n\n$25/session\, includes access to basic SoulCollage supplies and a program guide for the series to facilitate creative exploration on your own between sessions. Bring additional magazines and personal images. A copy of “Into the Heart of SoulCollage” by Anne Marie Bennett is suggested\, but not required \n\n\n\n\nOnline registration closes one week prior to each session.\n\n\n\nIf you are new to SoulCollage\, check our program listing for ‘Introduction to SoulCollage” to learn the basics or contact Sharon Devo to learn more about joining this small group.\n\n\n\nRegister separately for each monthly session\, come to one or all\, as your schedule allows. \n\n\n\n\n\nRegister for this Event\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSharon Devo is a certified SoulCollage and Open Studio Process Facilitator\, Spiritual Director and Retreat Guide. In addition to her work as Director at Tau Center\, Sharon’s professional experience ranges from co-active coaching/training & development to driving a FedEx Truck . Her personal practice includes art-making\, meditation and garden design. She completed the three year program “Spiritual Deepening for Global Transformation” at Christine Center and remains committed to companioning all on their spiritual journey of awakening. \n\n\n\nNote: Tau Center in-person offerings require masking in all public areas and current vaccinations.
