DESCRIPTION:Join us as we celebrate the Feast of St. Clare of Assisi  at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel\, 26W171 Roosevelt Rd\, Wheaton\, IL\, Entrance #7. \n\n\n\nFor those unable to attend in person\, you can attend the livestream on our YouTube Channel. Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel and select the bell icon to receive notifications when the Wheaton Franciscans go live! \n\n\n\nYou will also find the corresponding Mass Sheet in the description of the livestream video. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSt. Clare was born on July 16\, 1194\, in a noble home in Assisi\, Italy. Even as a young woman\, St. Clare was determined to dedicate herself to the service of God through a life of prayer and helping those most in need. At the age of nineteen\, after giving her inheritance to the poor\, Clare secretly left her home. She founded the Poor Clare’s\, the second branch of the Franciscan family to be established. The Poor Clare’s lived at San Damiano\, one of the small churches repaired by St. Francis.
