DESCRIPTION:Join us for morning prayer on Holy Saturday in the Deutschland Chapel\, 26W171 Roosevelt Rd\, Wheaton\, IL\, Entrance #5. \n\n\n\nThis is an in-person only event. \n\n\n\nLearn More About Holy Week Morning Prayer – \n\n\n\nThe summit of the Liturgical Year is the Easter Triduum—from the evening of Holy Thursday to the evening of Easter Sunday. Though chronologically three days\, they are liturgically one day unfolding for us the unity of Christ’s Paschal Mystery.The single celebration of the Triduum marks the end of the Lenten season and leads to the Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord at the Easter Vigil.There are no morning Masses celebrated on the three days of the Triduum. SUMMARY:Holy Saturday - Easter Vigil
DESCRIPTION:The vigil Mass is held after nightfall on Holy Saturday\, or before dawn on Easter Sunday\, in celebration of the resurrection of Jesus.  This is called the Easter Vigil: the most glorious\, beautiful\, and dramatic liturgy for the Church. Join us at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel\, 26W171 Roosevelt Rd\, Wheaton\, IL\, Entrance #7. \n\n\n\nThe vigil is divided into four parts and lasts about 1 ½ hours: \n\n\n\n\nthe Service of Light\n\n\n\nthe Liturgy of the Word\n\n\n\nthe Liturgy of Baptism\n\n\n\nthe Liturgy of the Eucharist\n\n\n\n\nFor those unable to attend in person\, you can attend the livestream on our YouTube Channel.
