Personal Care Assistant (PCA) – Early Evening from 3pm-8pm
The Personal Care Assistant – Resident Assistant (Assistant) performs supportive care to the Sisters of the Mother House (convent). Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), provides care that will meet the needs of the Sisters, i.e., supportive measures which facilitate their independence. Care includes assistance with personal care/grooming, medication reminders, documentation of health, exercise, housekeeping, and transport within the convent facility.
The Assistant maintains an atmosphere conducive to religious life and helps provide for a safe environment. The Assistant works as part of a team for the well-being of the whole. The Assistant has skills and abilities to perform assigned tasks, neatly and in a timely manner.
Seeking Assistant care coverage Sunday-Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with flexibility on the assigned workdays with a preference of 10 to 20 hours per week. The PCA will occasionally be asked to provide coverage due to staff absences/vacations.
Pay rate – $18.50 per hour
