The Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant (Assistant) is responsible for the daily cleaning and resupplying of disposable supplies in Sisters’ rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices and other areas as assigned. In addition, the Assistant is responsible for collecting soiled laundry and linen on a daily basis and delivering clean laundry. The Assistant washes, iron, folds and returns clean personal laundry to the Wellness Center (OLA Community), Tau Center and to other sisters when they are incapable of doing their own laundry. The Assistant is also responsible for washing, ironing and folding all Chapel linen and all linen tablecloths for special functions and events. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (30 minutes for lunch).
