The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Personal Care Assistant (PCA) performs supportive care to the Sisters of the Mother House (Our Lady of Angels Convent). Under the direction of the Nurse Manager (RN Manager), the CNA/PCA provides care that will meet the needs of the Sisters, i.e. supportive measures which facilitate their independence. Care includes assistance with personal care/grooming, medication reminders, documentation of health monitoring, exercise, housekeeping, and transport within the facility.
The CNA/PCA maintains an atmosphere conducive to religious life and helps provide for a safe environment. The CNA/PCA will work as part of a team for the well-being of the whole. The CNA/PCA also has the skills and abilities to perform assigned tasks, neatly and in a timely manner.
The ideal CNA/PCA will work a schedule of 6:00a to 2:00p (2 days on, 2 days off, alternating the next week 2 days off, 2 days on). The CNA’s/PCA’s work schedule includes some flexibility to cover some shifts, weekends and holidays for staff absences. This is a benefit eligible position.
